Northrup http://www.raintone.com/2009/06/iphone-os-30-battery-life-problems-fixed-1st-generation-iphone/ So I’m very happy with the new iPhone OS 3.0, but I noticed my battery was running down much quicker than before. Lo and behold, the update had enabled Bluetooth by default. In my experience, this will definitely shorten battery life. I disabled Bluetooth in the Settings menu, and my battery life has been as good (or better) than it was on 0S 2.0.
